I have a confession: I am hopelessly addicted to Overwatch 2 Stadium. Since Season 16 launched back in 2025, this permanent third mode has become my nightly ritual. In 2026, I still queue up, stare at the power list, and whisper, What if I made Junker Queen even more terrifying? The answer is always yes. Here are my favorite builds for every hero, forged through trial, error, and an embarrassing number of respawns. stadium-shenanigans-my-2026-overwatch-2-builds-for-every-hero-image-0

My golden rule? Pick one or two powers and commit like you are writing a love letter. Jack-of-all-trades builds usually end up as master of none. Spend Cash to patch weak spots, whether that means weapon damage, cooldowns, or just staying alive. 😅

Tanks: Big Bodies, Bigger Problems

D.Va: Legendary Loadout, Overstocked, Ignition Burst, Tokki Slam

D.Va already throws damage around like confetti. With Legendary Loadout and Overstocked, her Micro Missiles become a delete button that she can press more often. Ignition Burst leaves lava behind when you use Boosters, so enemies get to choose between standing in fire or walking into your team. Tokki Slam adds more chaos. I once chased a poor Ana across three lanes. She still haunts my dreams. Maybe.

Junker Queen: Blade Parade, Cut 'Em, Gracie, Merciless Magnetism, Twist the Knife

Jagged Blade is already a mood. Blade Parade turns it into a charged attack with 35% more damage, while Twist the Knife extends the wound with headshots. Merciless Magnetism fixes the one flaw: my aim. It locks onto the nearest enemy when you use Commanding Shout. Cut 'Em, Gracie lowers the cooldown when the blade hits on the way back. Throw, recall, repeat. It is a violent boomerang simulator.

Orisa: Spynstem Update, Restorify, Advanced Throwbotics, Lassoed

Orisa in Stadium is all about spamming her best abilities. Spynstem Update deflects projectiles with Javelin Spin and converts damage into Ultimate charge. Advanced Throwbotics deploys an Energy Javelin when you use Javelin Spin. Lassoed yanks impaled enemies toward you for a primary-fire welcome party. Restorify heals while Fortify is active. I feel like an immortal robot cow. A beautiful, terrifying robot cow.

Reinhardt: Amplification Barrier, To Me, My Friends, Wilhelmwagen, Barrier Reconstruction

Reinhardt should be a team asset, not a lone wolf charging into the sunset. Wilhelmwagen converts blocked damage into health. Barrier Reconstruction repairs the shield when damage is dealt. Amplification Barrier boosts friendly projectiles fired through the shield. To Me, My Friends heals nearby allies when active. Suddenly, I am not just a big man with a hammer. I am a mobile health spa with a hammer.

Zarya: No Limits, Barrier Benefits, Pre-Workout, Containment Shield

Zarya becomes nearly impossible to kill. Pre-Workout gives weapon and ability lifesteal. Containment Shield grants health based on stored energy. No Limits raises her maximum energy, so the Particle Cannon hits like a truck. Barrier Benefits gives bonus overhealth to Zarya and her team whenever a barrier expires. I have walked out of fights at full health while my enemies rage in chat. It is lovely.

DPS: Delete Buttons and Bad Decisions

Ashe: Incendiary Rounds, My Business, My Rules, Reload Therapy, Partners in Crime

Ashe has Powers that hold hands. Incendiary Rounds add damage on scoped shots. My Business, My Rules lowers ability cooldowns when you hit a burning target. Reload Therapy gives health back when reloading, which breaks my commit rule but keeps me alive. Partners in Crime lets Ashe and B.O.B keep each other alive by dealing damage. It is a family business, and business is booming.

Cassidy: Dead Man Walking, Full House, Hot Potato, Sunrise

Cassidy is already a cowboy menace. Dead Man Walking gives extra ammo per kill that round. Full House buffs damage for every ammo slot remaining. Hot Potato gives extra ammo when Flashbang blinds an enemy. Sunrise slows enemies in Deadeye's sight. I call this build the High Noon Snowball. It starts slow, then everyone dies.

Genji: Cybernetic Speed, Sacred Shuriken, Wyrm's Maw, Forged Under Fire

Genji is fast and annoying, but his primary fire sometimes needs more punch. Cybernetic Speed raises attack speed when you are accurate. Sacred Shuriken adds two extra projectiles at no ammo cost. Wyrm's Maw makes Shuriken hits open enemies to extra Swift Strike damage. Forged Under Fire heals you when you use Deflect. I become a blurry ninja who refuses to die. Sorry, enemy backline.

Mei: Frost Armor, Iceberg, Snowball Fight, Cryclone

Mei can dominate a battlefield, and Stadium lets her go full ice queen. Iceberg makes Ice Wall spawn a mini blizzard that slows enemies. Frost Armor gives protective armor while you deal damage. Snowball Fight creates Ice Walls when you jump. Cryclone brings another Blizzard when you heal with Cryo-Freeze. I once walled off a whole team, froze them, and laughed. It was rude. It was effective.

Reaper: Backstabber, Shrouded Shrapnel, Ghosted, Spirited to Slay

Reaper does not need a damage buff, but he does need more ways to appear behind you. Shrouded Shrapnel buffs primary fire after Wraith Form. Backstabber gives 50% more damage to players hit from behind after using an ability. Ghosted slows enemies if you phase through them. Spirited to Slay resets every cooldown after a kill. I am not a player. I am a jump scare.

Soldier: 76: Peripheral Pulse, Super Visor, Chaingun, On Me!

Tactical Visor is already devastating. Super Visor triggers it briefly after every Helix Rockets use. Peripheral Pulse locks onto two players at once during it. Chaingun grants stacking damage during sustained fire. On Me! makes Biotic Field move with you, healing on the go. I feel like a dad who discovered aimbot and unlimited snacks.

Supports: Healing, Harming, and Pure Chaos

Ana: Pinpoint Perscription, Tactical Rifle, My Turn, Sleep Regimen

Ana is a fantastic healer, but sometimes I want her to be the sniper she was born to be. Pinpoint Perscription lets headshots deal critical hits. Tactical Rifle auto-locks onto enemies while scoped. My Turn gives her damage buffs when Nano Boost is used. Sleep Regimen lets her put multiple targets to sleep. I call this build Grandma's Bedtime. Nobody stays awake for long.

Juno: Cosmic Coolant, Medicinal Missiles, Pulsar Plus, Medimaster

Juno's Stadium Powers are not as flashy, but Pulsar Torpedoes can carry. Pulsar Plus adds a charge. Medicinal Missiles make them better at healing. Cosmic Coolant reduces the cooldown. Medimaster lets her primary attack crit on enemies and allies. The result is a Juno who heals more than regular Overwatch thought possible. I am basically a floating hospital.

Kiriko: Leaf on the Wind, Supported Shooting, Spirit Veil, Foxy Fireworks

Kiriko can heal and assassinate. Leaf on the Wind makes each Healing Ofuda bounce to two more allies. Supported Shooting grants 20% attack speed to anyone it touches. Foxy Fireworks makes the first three Kunais after reloading explode. Spirit Veil makes her invincible for four seconds after triggering her Ultimate. I am a support. I am a DPS. I am a problem.

Lucio: Mixtape, Crowd Pleaser, Sonic Boom, Fast Forward

Lucio players usually choose between healing and griefing. In Stadium, I choose both. Sonic Boom, Crowd Pleaser, and Mixtape together produce massive heals when you attack with Speed Boost active and switch songs. Fast Forward makes Speed Boost add damage, which feeds more healing. Spend Cash on attack damage. Become a menace. Dance on the payload. 🎧

Mercy: Distortion, Glass Extra Full, Threads of Fate, Equivalent Exchange

It is tempting to make Mercy a DPS, but you would miss the best healer in the game. Glass Extra Full, Distortion, and Threads of Fate give teammates overhealth and lifesteal, often to multiple targets. Equivalent Exchange swaps Revive's cooldown for three charges that reset each round. In Stadium's shorter rounds, that means multiple allies can come back at once. I am a guardian angel with a business degree.

Moira: Multiball, Cross-Orbal, Phantasm, Optimal Overflow

Moira has one of the most fun Stadium builds. Multiball launches two extra Biotic Orbs per use. Cross-Orbal adds one more, so you fire four at once. Phantasm launches another orb when you Fade. Optimal Overflow launches one when you spend 50% Biotic Energy. Soon, the map is covered in orbs. I do not even need to be near the fight. I just need to exist.

Final Thoughts from a Stadium Addict

In 2026, Stadium is still my favorite way to play Overwatch 2. The mode rewards commitment, creativity, and a certain willingness to be annoying. My advice: pick a build, upgrade it with Cash, and do not spread yourself thin. Unless you are Lucio. Then spread yourself everywhere. See you in the queue. I will be the Mei walling off your spawn. 😈
